Financial Aid

We do not provide internal funding but we can make payment arrangements with you if you email admin@norwestsoccer.com. 

If you are looking for more support than breaking up your payment, we recommend either of the funding programs below. 

Other organizations may offer financial support for registering children in sports programs. You are welcome to apply to any of them. However, to place a player on a team, NorWest requires proof of funding by April 30. Please apply early.

Jumpstart Canada and KidSport are two organizations NorWest Soccer suggests. These organizations each take 6-8 weeks to process payment, so please be mindful of the processing time and the deadline to submit proof. They may require proof of soccer registration, so ensure your player has registered in our online registration system beforehand.

The complete fee is the responsibility of the parent or guardian registering the participant.

Next Steps:

Once you have applied to a subsidy provider, please email admin@norwestsoccer.com to advise of registration, funding application, and plan to pay any balance of fees. Send proof of funding application: a copy of the Jumpstart online confirmation page or a copy of the Kidsport application.

The application may ask for some club/program details. These dates are approximate & solely for funding applications since they ask:

Jumpstart  Canada

When families need a little financial boost to get kids involved in a sport, team, or other active programs, they have the option to fill out an application online. This needs to be done before the fees are due, as the money goes right to the organization. Applications for assistance can typically be submitted from January 15 to November 1; with the goal for funding to be equally distributed over Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter activities.

All approvals are at the sole discretion of the local Jumpstart Chapter and designated Canadian Tire Regional Manager and are subject to local demands and Chapter budgets.
